Most of them are small, long-established family businesses. To find them, we ask a lot of questions, drive many kilometers, do research&#8230; each region has its specialty: potters, ceramists, blacksmiths, carpenters, basket makers&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"textbig\">Currently, we are working with 7 workshops, but over the years we have collaborated with more than 20.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/12&#8243; offset=&#8221;vc_hidden-sm vc_hidden-xs&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section][vc_row content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/12&#8243; offset=&#8221;vc_hidden-sm vc_hidden-xs&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; offset=&#8221;vc_col-lg-5 vc_col-md-5 vc_hidden-xs&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"textbig\">In the 1970s and 1980s, this kind of work was undervalued, and many people emigrated to France to work in factories where wages were better. This abundance of raw materials gave rise to many workshops. Today, they are still small, family-run, and highly artisanal.
