Handcrafter pot.
B.O.I.A. terracotta pots with shapes inspired by old naval effects and navigation lights. Made in refractory clay in which small flashes of quartzite inlays can be seen, giving the object a singular and attractive materiality.
Made by the craftsman Joao Lorenzo on a potter's wheel in a totally handmade process. The complexity and difficulty in making the pieces makes it necessary to let them dry and rework them on the potter's wheel on several occasions in order to polish the details and finishes.
Care and recommendations: over time some clay pots may show a slight white layer. This is due to the accumulation of minerals in the irrigation water. The composition of the water varies from place to place. We recommend avoiding watering with tap water, or using filtered water, rainwater or letting tap water stand for a few hours before use. We also recommend not to overwater.
