Hand-painted white clay figures, one of the most emblematic expressions of Portuguese folk pottery. This centuries-old practice was born from the ingenuity of potters who, using leftover clay from their workshops, gave life to small figures full of color and symbolism.
Each piece preserves the free and expressive spirit that characterizes the art of Barcelos Figurative pottery: the vibrant use of color, the spontaneity of form, and the connection with everyday life and popular culture.
