Canabarro

Canabarro is a traditional ceramic piece commonly used for the transportation of liquids. 'To go for wine in the taverns or for transporting wine outside the house, 'os canabarros do viño' (the wine cánabros) were used." (Source: The Pottery of Galicia, Luciano García Alén).

This series of pieces are identical replicas of traditional Galician pieces that have disappeared. They may now have other uses because our customs have changed.
